That's a question that I was having trouble with yesterday on our watching football/laying on the couch marathon.
It was our first weekend at home in a month and we REALLY took advantage of it. We woke up way to early and started watching Gameday and getting pumped for our game. We went over to Hunter and Joe's and had a delicious lunch while we listened to our game against SC State on the radio. After the first quarter, Graham figured out how to work ESPN 360 with his nerdy computer skills and we got to watch the rest of the game! After our game, we continued to watch the other 100 games that were on tv and finally fell asleep to the LSU/Auburn game. Not a bad day huh? Well Graham has no problem attaching himself to the couch but I get a little antsy and need fresh air/entertainment, so today when he wanted a repeat of yesterday, I went to school to get some much needed work done and I am now back at home working on Progress Reports. Who said Sundays were a day of rest? That doesn't exist when you are a teacher!
Anyway, I am proud to say that Clemson SHUT OUT SC State to a 54-0 victory and I am very excited to be back in Death Valley this weekend to play Maryland. Most of our friends will be there and it should be another great football weekend in beautiful Clemson! 3-1 GO TIGERS!

Tired Tiger...
We just got back from our second trip to Clemson in a row and....WE WON! We are back on track with a 2-1 record and ready to keep the momentum going! Unfortunately we are not going back for the 3rd of a four game home marathon in Death Valley this weekend against SC State but it will be a great moral booster for some very tired tigers!

Hanna, Karma, and a Clemson Cadet
I am the worst blogger ever! But because I have 100% consumed myself into school stuff, I will probably just be doing weekly posts until the dust settles!
I am at school really early this morning because Graham dropped me off before work. He is going to pick me up at 1:00 to head to CLEMSON! We get dismissed early today because of our little visit from our friend Hanna. Hopefully we don't come back to a tree in our house!
Karma...That's what my arch enemies the Carolina Gamecocks are dealing with this morning. They thought it was SOO funny that #9 Clemson got beat by Alabama. They thought it was SOO funny when it was a team from their "untouchable" conference that handed it to us. Well the jokes on them this morning. They got upset by a mediocre Vanderbilt team last night!
And finally...I am so excited about this weekend. Yes its the first home game of the season and a bunch of my girl friends are going to be there but I am so thrilled that my little brother is going to be on the sidelines at Death Valley...for the other team. He plays football for the Citadel but because he is one of the third string wide receivers he was not sure if he was going to be able to go. They can't travel with the whole team so he went to one of the coach's and explained how much it would mean to him to be on the sidelines in Clemson even if it was for the other team. My whole family is CRAZY about Clemson but he has always been more die-hard than anyone else from a very young age. I am so proud of him!

Bamboozled
...that's what I'm feeling. Bamboozled is a term that was coined by one of Graham's fraternity brothers while we were at Clemson. He would say it all the time...using it when something happened that was unexplainable and just plain mind boggling. I just got back from Atlanta for the Clemson vs. Alabama game and if you have been hearing all the football hype about Clemson and then watched the game last night you probably feel a little bamboozled as well.
With that being said we had a really good time in Atlanta. We saw tons of our Clemson buddies (pictures to follow) and had a great time until we stepped foot in the Georgia Dome. After riding the MARTA back to the hotel packed like sardines and "pinky promising" that we are NEVER going back to Atlanta for any reason what so ever (except for a connecting flight if necessary) Graham and I are back home ready to go to Clemson on Friday for the Citadel game.
I look forward to winning the next 11 games and putting this uncanny experience to rest!

First Day Jitters
It was only a half day and I am EXHAUSTED! I had forgotten how much energy it takes to keep up with 12- 6 year olds! I have a PRECIOUS class. You would think on the first day that they would be quiet, nervous, some-what reserved...NOPE! My class was chit chatty all day but seemed very comfortable with me and eachother. I think I was more nervous than they were!It all started with a bloody loose tooth which eventually popped out (you would have thought the little girl lost a limb) and the first words out of one little boys mouth was "I don't have any scissors." You may be thinking big whoop...he said he needed some scissors. Well, he said it in the cutest first grade speech impetement way when you can't say your "r"s and it just comes out awwwws. TOO CUTE!
